Digital Marketing Executive & Copywriting

FULL TIME | KUALA LUMPUR
Are you:
  • Up-to-date with trending topics and the latest marketing strategies and demands?
  • Familiar with different types of copywriting in English: social media platforms, e-commerce, newsletters, websites, blog articles, and others?

Your responsibility includes the creative, analytical, commercial, and digital aspects of content creation, delivering impactful, cohesive, and engaging marketing campaigns, whilst also finding new, innovative ways to increase TYT’s online presence by means of marketing strategies and analytics. You will also be in charge of writing the creative copy for most of our marketing collateral such as for web, social media captions, blog posts, visual taglines, short copy, product descriptions, and the like.

 

Main Responsibility

  • Develop a digital cross-platform content strategy that supports the business objectives and aligns with the brand values.
  • Organise and structure strategic content on social media to increase traffic, viewership, and conversions
  • Assist with planning projects and campaigns
  • Create content that extends the reach of marketing campaigns with brand ideals using digital platforms
  • Collaborate with designers and videographers on creating copy to produce content (weekly and campaign-based)
Are you the one we’re looking for?
  • Has a portfolio of published articles or social post captions
  • Ideally, a minimum of 2 years experience in Content Marketing or related fields
  • Stays up-to-date with trending topics and the latest marketing strategies and demands
  • Experienced with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress & Facebook)
  • Familiar with the different cultures and needs of multiracial consumers in Malaysia
  • Possesses impeccable English copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Able to multitask and work independently with good time-management skills
  • Good understanding of SEO
  • Has a keen eye for details
  • Familiar with different types of copywriting in English and Chinese: social media platforms (FB, IG, LinkedIn etc.), e-commerce (eShop, Shopee etc.), newsletters, websites, blog articles, and others
  • Able to create basic reports, insights, statistics

  • Graduated with a diploma/degree in Marketing, PR, Journalism, or relevant field
  • Product-related experience (planning, launches, marketing etc.)
  • Capable of CN and BM copywriting/translation/proofreading, and vice versa
  • Able to converse and communicate in Mandarin Chinese

Designer

We need you!

As a Designer you are the creative, analytical, commercial, and digital aspects of content creation, delivering impactful, cohesive, and engaging creatives. You ensure high standards with creative visuals, marketing collateral such as for web, social media posts, blog posts, visuals product packaging, photography, and the like. 

​​You will be the main person to finalise graphics and layouts to ensure they are visually appealing and on-brand
(and also fit to Facebook ads setting rules to stay cost effective).

Main Responsibilities

  • Create and design various materials like packaging, print and digital collateral based on briefs and requirements

  • Consistently produce excellent visual works.

  • Produce and select the best ideas to present to the team, company, and client.

  • Develop creatives and other designs by using graphic design software to fulfil the requirements of different medias

  • Follow the use of appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic based on brand guidelines, and improve on the guideline where necessary. Establish a creative direction if a guideline does not exist.

  • Test graphics across various media

  • Amend designs within the stipulated time (after aligning with cross-departmental function) after feedback

  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

  • Constantly monitor brands’ merchandise performance

  • Communicating productively with management and colleagues to keep them up-to-date with project developments

  • Upload, refresh and maintain Design Pool for works produced.

Are you the one we’re looking for?
  • Has a portfolio of published designs with various media
  • Ideally, a minimum of 2 years experience in Creative Design or related fields
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress & Facebook)
  • Familiar with the different cultures and needs of multiracial consumers in Malaysia
  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing design.
  • Able to multitask and work independently with good time-management skills
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Familiar with different types of design on social media platforms (FB, IG, LinkedIn etc.), e-commerce (eShop, Shopee etc.), newsletters, websites, blog articles, and others

Bonus brownie points if you have these too!

  • Proven graphic designing experience
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or graphic design
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (primarily Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of social media platforms and it’s design requirements
  • Specialised in Arts/Creative/Graphics Design
  • Great command of written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia
    and Mandarin (will be a bonus)
